SYNOPSIS
Thirty-year-old Peter experiences life differently, through touch, smell and taste. Born without the ability to hear, see, or speak, Peter’s family must do this for him. Years later, he was also placed on the autism spectrum. Since she came into the world, his younger sister Christine has been by his side, guiding him and supporting their parents. Traveling through a myriad of emotions, she is now coming to terms with the fact that she will one day become his guardian.

BIOGRAPHY
DIRECTOR - CILLE HANNIBAL
Director Cille Hannibal is born in Copenhagen, Denmark. She holds a degree from the prestigious National Film School of Denmark and graduated as a documentary director in 2013. Additionally, she holds a degree from the Danish School of Media and Journalism, where she studied from 2007 to 2009. Since her graduation from the National Film School of Denmark, Cille has worked as a director and programme planner on several TV-documentaries produced by DR and TV2. "The Night We Fell" was her debut film as a documentary director. The film was selected for CPH:DOX in 2018, and nominated for a NORDIC:DOX award. Furthermore, the film was nominated for Best Short at the prestigious festival “Vision du Reel” in Geneva in 2018. It was also selected as the opening film at Zagreb Dox in 2019.
CO-DIRECTOR - CHRISTINE HANBERG
Christine was born in Sorgenfri in 1993. She is an up-and-coming documentary director. She started her own production company CH FILM AND PHOTO in 2016. She has a degree from the European Film College, 2019. Furthermore, she has studied at the New York Film Academy and the Youth Film School Station-Next. He’s My Brother is Christine’s first co-production, in collaboration with the documentary filmmaker, Cille Hannibal. Christine has directed the documentary “Trine”, which premiered in 2021.
PRODUCER - MONICA HELLSTROM
Monica Hellström is a member of The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and was selected for Producer on the Move, Cannes 2020 and was awarded the prestigious ‘Ib award’ by the Danish Board of Film Directors in 2022. She started her company Ström Pictures in May 2022 and has before that been a producer at Final Cut for Real since 2010 and previously worked at Upfront Films and The Danish Film Institute's Film Workshop. She graduated from EAVE Producer Workshop in 2010, holds an MA in film from the University of Copenhagen (DK) and a BA in film from the University of Bedfordshire (UK).
