SYNOPSIS

This film delves beyond the notoriety of this network to reveal its secret depths, exposing how activists from around the world hide in the shadows of the Darknet to protect the freedoms we all hold dear. As privacy, anonymity and freedom of speech come under increasing threat, a group of self-appointed freedom fighters stand on the frontier of this invisible battleground.

BIOGRAPHY
DIRECTOR - DUKI DROR
Born in Tel Aviv and educated at UCLA and Columbia College in Chicago, Duki Dror Darwish is an internationally award-winning documentary filmmaker. His extensive body of work spreads over multiple topics and forms - character-driven journeys, experiment biographies, investigative docs, and historical epics, have won him international recognition and success. With acute sensitivity, innovative style, and engaging story-telling, Dror creates parables that convey human dilemmas and challenge the viewer's conventions.
DIRECTOR - TZACHI SCHIFF
Tzachi Schiff is a director, producer, and graduate of Tel Aviv University in Sociology and Anthropology, Political Science, Film and Television. Tzachi Schiff has over thirty years of experience in directing, producing, researching and scripting documentaries for Israel-based broadcasters. Among the works are ten feature-length documentaries, hundreds of short documentaries, clips, advertisements, television series, TV shows, docu-drama series, production-department management. Recent feature-length documentaries: "More Alive than Dead” (2017) 67 min. "Down The Deep Dark Web” (2016) 61 min. Schiff also established and managed a school for cinema studies, produced internet sites and music clips.
